Smaller crew show based around houses and interesting items (think American Pickers) where we will likely be working hard and fast while on the road with some prep time in between episodes. One or two weeks of LA prep, two weeks of LA shoots, and then we'll be on the road to other cities. You're jumping in midstream for someone we had who was wonderful but had to leave our lovely band of merry travelers.

This show needs a PC that is borderline spiritual in their commitment to organization and someone that can communicate efficiently and problem solve on-the-fly. Accounting excellence and spreadsheet detail oriented a must. Love it if you also have a sense of humor, but I suppose that one is optional. Your PM and LP have been doing this a long time and tend to try to make this work life something we enjoy and to hire people that work together well and are generally affable.

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Line Producer, with executive producer guidance, prepares the rundown of news stories, oversees and executes the production of key video and graphic elements. The Line Producer makes important editorial decisions and guides talent, writers, associate producers and the technical team in the control room. Additionally, the line producer must be able to build segments and develop story ideas from beginning to air. *** Originals Unscripted team is seeking a Coordinator to the VP of *** Unscripted Production who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Coordinator, you will materially impact the productivity and efficiency of the Production team. The ideal candidate is a meticulous individual capable of consistently achieving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. The coordinator provides support to the *** President and proactively manages and organizes heavy calendar scheduling, phone lines and book travel arrangements for the *** Unscripted team.

Responsibilities:

Manage busy calendar and phones, maintain phone logs, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and prepare expense reports.
Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams - your ability to collaborate well with people on all levels is an especially important part of your job.
Review your leader's schedule to build-in time for things like thinking and traveling to their next meeting.
Understand the day's priorities so you can be strategic about how you direct phone calls.
Schedule conference rooms, meetings, and video chats.
Manage extremely confidential, sensitive information, remembering that *** is a publicly traded company.

Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of previous coordinator experience within entertainment company/Studio.
Talent Agency experience required.
Unscripted Production experience required.
Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Manage smooth operations of the executives' calendars and offices, being mindful of deadlines and priorities.
General understanding of the television development process and cycles.
Knowledge of Production Companies, agencies, and networks.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $56,000 to $70,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
