This position is for a medical journalist and on-camera talent who is comfortable researching medical news, writing original video scripts, and reading these scripts to camera. The videos will be self-produced with minimal technology at the candidate's residence. Consumer-level understanding of video recording is acceptable. Experience as video talent is a major plus. Talent will not edit the videos. The raw footage will be delivered digitally to our post-production team for editing and finalizing.
This candidate will work remotely with the Health staff to develop video subjects and meet the messaging and aesthetic requirements of the brand.
I. Job Summary
● Appear as on-camera talent in multiple videos per week
● Work with stakeholders to satisfy the scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements of multiple video projects
● Provide a range of production services including: writing, directing & video camera operation
● Develop and manage relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in on shared goals
● Solve day-to-day production challenges
● Research, develop and pitch new ideas
● Stay current on content formats, subjects, trends and talent
● Demonstrate initiative, an ability to work independently, a collaborative and goal-oriented approach
II. Essential Job Functions
● Develop new video series and episode ideas
● Plan production
● Physical production
● Ensure content is published and receives maximum viewership
● Analyze performance and provide actionable feedback to all stakeholders
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
● +3 years experience.
● Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Video Production, Video Budgeting, Production Accounting, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Premiere, Camera Operation, Production Audio, Production Lighting
● Travel required (approximate): 15-25%
This will be a temp position through the Yoh agency.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $40 - $50 per hour
