Award-winning Production Company DIRTY ROBBER is hiring a Post Production Coordinator to join their team in an exciting new Documentary Series for NETFLIX.

The Post Production Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the shifting post production schedule, organizing archival footage, managing broadcast deliverables and coordinating the post production editorial staff. Previous experience working on documentary/docuseries project is a plus. This position reports to the Post Production Supervisor.


Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Post Production elements on docuseries project
• Collaborate across post department (Post Supervisor, Editors, AEs) and production department (Directors, Line Producer, Story Producers, Production Manager)
• Keep Post calendars and deliverables trackers up to date, communicate any schedule changes to producers
• Provide updates to Post Supervisor on status of projects, and present issues as necessary
• Standardize delivery workflows and metadata/labeling of assets
• Ingest and catalog archival footage for use in edit
• Liaise between editors and creatives on cuts and feedback
• Track the status of rough cuts to keep show on schedule for delivery
• Issue and track purchase orders
• Conduct research of technical assets and new workflows
• Liaise with outside vendors (GFX, audio, color), while continually analyzing cost efficiencies
• Assist in the tracking and advancement of each episode during finishing, online and QC


Qualifications:
• 3-5 years in post production, preferably as Post PA or Post Coordinator
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, with experience creating and maintaining schedules
• Expertise in Avid Media Composer and a background in Assistant Editing are a big plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good work ethic, ability to multi-task and sense of urgency
• Knowledge and/or experience with UHD, HDR, and archival workflows are a plus
• Must be available to work overtime if needed including evenings and occasional weekends

Start Date: October 14th, 2019
Approximate end Date: Dec. 20th, 2019
Approximate Duration: 10 weeks
Rate: $1500/week
Non-Union
Office located in Hollywood/ Silverlake, CA
