Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a local station or cable network working in a news environment
Must have ability to work daytime hours and flexible hours (nights/weekends) when needed
Passion for strong image and promotional writing
Knowledge of broadcast and social *** platforms
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Stays up to date with local news
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all departments
Proven experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop are strongly preferred
Strong non-linear editing skills
Working knowledge with camera, audio, and light equipment
B.S. or B.A. with related experience preferred
Must be able to provide a reel of work examples - include a web address with your resume and cover letter

Job Summary:

This position requires you to be based in our Dubai offices 4 days a week.

The *** + team is accountable for growth and day to day operation of *** + across MENA region, specifically focused on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships content programming, research, and analytics.

This role sits within the team supporting *** 's streaming platform, *** +. Working with Managers, Creative Services and a team of professionals, the responsibility is to handle creative project planning from inception through conceptualization to final production.

This role is responsible for the timely creation and production of all local AV results. Primarily, the role requires all output is produced to meet brand consistency, creative standards, and cost efficiencies. It's a hands-on role that will involve scripting, editing, directing voiceovers and shoots when required. Will certainly be required to project run and keep all collaborators informed on project progress from conception to completion.

Areas of Responsibility

Producing creative, innovative multi-platform digital executions and AV content. Working within the framework within allocated budget and timescale

Assisting with the creation of both original and repurposed creative campaigns, either in-house or via a creative agency

Being a key member of the team responsible for planning and implementing creative specifically suited to driving Awareness and Acquisitions for *** + across the region.

Working with Marketing and other departments to produce creative assets (short form, sales tapes, creative pitches etc.)

Ensuring full approvals for all locally developed and localised material as well as ensuring compliance with *** standards and practices and all legal and financial procedures

Respecting the relevant brand style guides

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

Validated experience developing outstanding AV campaigns and materials ideally within the Entertainment industry.

Experience of all production techniques is critical - storyboarding, scripting, creating briefs, VO, editing, DV camera work and directing GFX (After FX). Adobe software.

Experience of multi- language workflows is required.

Skills Required

Able to independently lead projects through to delivery - large and small
First or dual language Arabic (written and spoken) essential
Deep understanding of the cultural norms and nuances of MENA region from both a brand and audience perspective
Capable of working calmly under high demands and to timely schedules
Excellent creative writing skills.
Solid Adobe Premiere Editor.
Knowledge of After FX.
Graphic Design skills.
Excellent attention to detail and an advanced level of creative standards.
