Discovery is looking for a Late Night Talk Show writer who also has solid segment and field-producing experience. The title is Show Producer and he or she will be responsible for the writing cold opens, desk bits and host copy. They also must be able to segment or field-produce everything they write.

His or her responsibilities will include:

• Taking the lead on 1-hour episodes of the comedy talk show series
• Writing the episodes (script intros, tosses, field pieces, desk pieces and kickers)
• Overseeing in-studio shooting of comedic intros, tosses, desk bits and kickers
• Producing the comedy material he or she has written
• Working with the Executive Producer to insure the episode is completed on-time
• Helping other producers with their assigned hour and/or assigned segments, as needed

References and writing tests will be required, so candidates should have experience writing and overseeing the creation of talk shows, variety shows or similar content featuring an emphasis on comedy.

Position is initially for about 9 weeks with the possibility of continuing beyond that time frame.

All these information being told from the perspective of a female who initially just wanted to head home and see how she could make a difference.

I have shot amazing footage in locations rarely given access to, partner with strategic allies in the local government and am ready to put the story together, I just need a visionary that will help me make it a reality.

Did I also forget to mention there are also Enchanted islands and a breathtaking backdrop in one of the most beautiful (yet currently dangerous) places on Earth?

This might be a very unconventional way to put together a project, but maybe it's time to disrupt the way the industry works.

**** - *** 48 is currently seeking a Producer/Content Producer who will work closely with assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to produce, write, edit, and gather content on all **** platforms, both linear and digital, including FAST in Spanish.
