Live streaming is the future of content, and video game culture & entertainment is at the forefront of this emerging medium. G4’s Development team leads the charge by creating new formats and programs for the gaming landscape every day. We are looking for a Creative Producer to join the team and help create and manage content for the audiences of tomorrow. As a Creative Producer, you will work directly with the Head of Development and your teammates to ideate, pitch, write, and produce original and branded content that touches audiences across G4’s various platforms including Twitch, YouTube Live, Social Media, and Linear. You will take ownership of the creative integrity and evolution of G4’s digital-first livestreams and collaborate cross-functionally with Talent and Staff to develop and execute hilarious and compelling formats.
As a Creative Producer you should thrive in a high-paced environment and love process and organization as much as you love pitching zany stream segments that make us snort laugh. You are adept at juggling multiple projects and staying on top of deliverables from Pre-Production through Post. If you don’t have an answer, you will chase one down. If there is no process, you will step up and propose one. This is the way.
A working knowledge of digital studio production workflow, Twitch live-streaming production, video game culture, and digital content creators are required.
Responsibilities To Include, But Are Not Limited To:
-Research & development of new formats from pre-production to delivery of treatments, outlines, and live proof-of-concepts.
-Own the day-to-day creative and logistical needs of G4’s digital-first livestreams.
-Writing outlines and rundowns for current shows & formats.
-Working directly with Talent to give creative direction and co-develop formats.
-Shepherding all aspects of your assigned projects, through ideating, scoping, development, live streaming and post.
-Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with Talent & department leads.
-Managing schedules, projects, and assignments in a timely and effective manner.
-Brainstorming and pitching new formats and series concepts.
Desired Skills/Experience/Qualities:
-4 + years experience as a Producer in a digital studio production environment with working knowledge of pre-production, physical production, and post-production workflows including: Creating Outlines, Episode Rundowns, Managing Sets & Freelance Crew, Budgeting, Requesting Graphics, and Overseeing Edits.
-2 + years of experience Producing live-streaming content for platforms like Twitch and YouTube live using tools like OBS, Streamlabs, and Discord.
-Experience and passion for Gaming, Esports, and Creator Content.
-You understand the culture and audience behavior for digital platforms like Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter.
-You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-You’re an active gamer and passionate about gaming culture.
-Initiative to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
-Ability to establish effective relationships internally and externally.
-Excels under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
-Highly self-motivated, well-organized with a strong work ethic.
