Producer/Shooter needed for short, branded internet series being produced by Emmy-award winning production company based in Los Angeles.

Posting in Austin, but this job is actually in Abilene, TX.

Project involves a corporate-sponsored, national sweepstakes giveaway, the prize announcements for which our production team needs to document for release on web platforms, such as YouTube, social media, etc.

Due to the nature of the sweepstakes, we may have less than 24 hours to coordinate shoots with the prize-winners. As such, candidates must be flexible and work well under tight deadlines.

Other requirements include the following:

-Must be able to operate professional/prosumer-level HD camera equipment with on-board audio, while directing and interviewing talent, driving creative, and capturing necessary coverage.

-Preferred candidates should own, have access to, or know where to rent camera gear locally. We will reimburse for personal kit rentals on camera/audio equipment or pay for gear rentals with local camera houses as needed.

-Must have laptop/computer with internet access and be able to transfer media/footage via cloud storage.

-Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. We will reimburse for mileage.

-Should know or have quick references for local PA’s to assist with your shoot.

JOB DESCRIPTION
**** *** 7 the *** O&O in Austin, TX is looking for a Digital Creative Producer to join *** 7's in-house creative team. Work alongside our Creative Director, Managers, Account Executives, Editors, Designers and Digital Content Creators. Conceptualize, write, shoot and edit compelling promotional and commercial spots, and local content for broadcast and digital. You'll be writing, shooting and editing commercials, original streaming programming and promotional spots, and other creative projects. This position plays a vital role in the success of our station!

Working with your supervisors, account executives, and producers, you'll handle the complete production process. This includes pre-production planning, scripting, supervising voice-over talent and graphic designers, creative editing, sound design and final packaging of creative. You will also be responsible for directing and shooting clients, anchors, lighting/camera crew members and reporters. Using on-air, OTT and digital platforms, you'll contribute to the team's success of creating effective audience-targeted advertising. Must be a highly organized, dependable, and creative problem solver. Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by the Creative Services Director and Department Managers.

Must have at least 2 years' experience in a medium or large TV market or similar field. College degree preferred.
