The Video Producer/Shooter will work with multimedia department staff, account teams, and our clients to produce video and photo content from start to finish, run shoots from solo expeditions to fully-staffed productions, and ensure the highest standards of production quality on all assets and final products.

Who you are:
• A savvy filmmaker and storyteller with a passion for creating effective political and social issue content
• A jack of all trades including video editing, but you specialize in cinematography and photography
• You are confident and professional in the field and interacting with clients
• You possess the ability to manage multiple projects at a time, ensuring all client needs and deadlines are met
• You keep up to date with the latest aesthetic trends in web, TV, radio and social media content
• You are creative, organized, responsible, collaborative, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment
Your experience:
• At least 1-2 years in a professional production setting, such as at an agency, production company, or on political campaigns
• Mastery of DSLRs, mirrorless and cinema cameras, color profiles, and raw media to post-production workflows
• Expertise in professional-grade lighting and grip equipment, technique, and implementation
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere and the full Adobe suite; advanced editing experience a plus
All employees in this position are expected to retain a valid driver’s license and a purchased or leased automobile for personal transportation to work events with a valid inspection sticker. The current minimum starting salary offer for this position is $45,500. The current maximum starting salary offer for this position is $72,500. Starting salary offer amounts are furnished at the discretion of the agency with adherence to contractually guaranteed minimum pay rates and are also based on the relevant experience level of the applicant and on agency hiring needs. 617MediaGroup is proud to be a union shop and 617MediaGroup employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
