The MMJ will work with assignment editors, producers and news leadership to report on breaking news, enterprise stories and highly promotable news content specific to the region assigned.

Candidate must have a proven track record of strong storytelling skills, source-building, enterprise reporting, digging and handling breaking news. The right candidate will operate our of a bureau and work autonomously most of the time. Excellent time management skills are a must.

The MMJ role will be based in Prince George's County, a county in Maryland just over the Washington, DC border. The region is home to some of the best museums in the country from the Smithsonian to the National Museum of African American History and Culture to the National Archives. Your New Role...

*** is looking for a 3D designer to join the New *** team as a Producer I. The ideal team member will work to create visually engaging stories for our viewers, working closely with show teams and on-air talent with a focus on producing content in the Magic Wall, virtual studio and for augmented reality for visual news stories including the 2024 primary and general election.

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Producer I will serve as a leader in design by collaborating with the team and other producers to come up with a concept and plan and execute those short and long-term projects. While they will be responsible for 2D and 3D design, they will be expected to teach and mentor others.

We are looking for a self-starter, creative thinker, and clear communicator with experience in a fast-paced, intense and demanding environment. It is also essential that this person be a motivated team player who is excited about the future of the intersection of design, innovation and news. It also will help to have a spirit of adventure, as we'll be experimenting with new approaches onemerging platforms.

Qualifications & Experience...

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, 3D art or similar
5+ years' experience with virtual *** , mixed reality or related field (News experience a plus!)
Experience in creating high quality 3D assets using 3D modelling software (Unreal Engine, C4D, Blender)
Experience with video capture, production, compositing and editing
Experience in 3D game engines (Unity, Unreal)
Knowledge of high-level coding and scripting languages
An affinity to collaborate
Ability to travel and work weekends as needed
