What You'll Do

Strategically partner with Executive Producers and VFX Producers in managing multi-currency budgets for multiple projects ranging from $1m to $100m. This likely includes partnering with financial analysts in other ILM *** to meet reporting deadlines and financial targets.

Shares knowledge with other members of the team

Prepares and reports scenario planning and cost projections, including estimating various regional tax incentives.

Provides guidance on accounting matters to Production Management

Responsible for accurate month end financial reporting, project forecasts to be included in the consolidated ILM Forecasts and Plan, and maintaining records for audit and variance explanation.

Prepares and presents quarterly project status presentations for Executive management and show key creatives.

Prepares routine weekly and ad hoc financial reporting to Exec Producers, Producers, and Executives.

Prepares billing detail and information for invoicing on contracts and rebillable projects.

Works with other ILM departments including Business Affairs, Talent Management, General Accounting, FP&A, Technology, etc

Is an active participant in the global finance department by providing input and taking on projects to improve processes and enforce best practices.

We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Electronic Trading Solutions Finance team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to deliver a unique blend of financial and operational analysis, financial modeling, reporting and senior management support in a fast-paced and cutting-edge business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work and handle sensitive company information with discretion.

We'll trust you to:

Lead the financial reporting, analysis, and planning process as part of the Electronic Trading Solutions Finance team and manage FP&A requirements in adherence to corporate requirements and processes
Create and develop detailed financial models and analysis to support various strategic initiatives including market analysis, product launches, and long-term financial growth plans
Assist in the preparation of the financial forecasts/targets for the annual operating plans along with monitoring historical revenue and expense trends
Use data analysis to actively identify new and innovative ways to track business performance, and suggest additional ideas for drivers and removing obstacles in our delivery
Provide executive level communication (both written and oral) to business heads and product managers on the financial results, performance vs. targets, and insights on key variances on a regular basis, including but not limited to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Client Profitability metrics
Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes, and propose improvements to streamline the collection, use, and presentation of data
Oversee resource management, resource allocations and resource related reporting and analysis
Participate in special project requests directly from the Management Committee and Senior Management
Liaise with Controllers and other departments to ensure accurate and timely production and distribution of financial statements
Identify opportunities to drive efficiency in internal processes

You'll need to have:

4+ years experience in financial analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to confidently work with data, identifying business trends and be able to create insightful analysis
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks are required
Flexibility to work in a fast-moving environment
Superior Microsoft Excel skills
Team player with ability to deal with changing priorities
