Production Assistant (Day Player / Freelance)
Seeking day player Production Assistants/ Runners that are looking to gain experience and grow their skillset within the entertainment industry.
Job duties involve:
• Assist with all elements of daily production needs.
• Assist all executives and creative departments with daily runs.
• Work closely with stage crew for any segment needs.
• Maintain mail and interoffice runs.
• Assist with office organization; managing supplies, kitchen, copy room, golf carts, etc.
• Maintain distribution of newspapers, calendars and schedules, while anticipating upcoming needs.
• Maintain organized files on all prior production tasks, runs and expenses.
• Work with all PA's to execute work load each day; professionally and positively.
• Aid creative departments in researching quickly and efficiently, providing in-depth information.
• Stay current with pop culture, news and current events
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
What is required for the position:
• A car and valid CA driver license are required.
• An interest in production and/or the entertainment industry is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
• Computer Skills: Word, Outlook, and Excel knowledge are preferred.
• Tech-savvy and knowledge of current devices.
