In an office setting, Production Assistants may have more secretarial responsibilities, while those working on set are more likely to directly assist the production teams.
Responsibilities:
Complete studio tasks that are delegated from our Project Coordinator such as assistant editing and organizing files on hard drives. Organizational tasks such as equipment inventory/management. Errands such as equipment rental pickups/dropping off rental equipment after to FedEx. Operating common office equipment like copiers, scanners and printers.
Production Oriented Responsibilities:
- Prepping for shoots
- Loading/unloading gear (up to 50lbs) in vehicles
- Assisting in setting up cameras
- Setting up Tripods/lighting stands
- Organizing pre-production documents/forms
- Set up temporary office equipment/tables/desks

Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of experience through a previous job and relevant training through production courses
- Having prior experience in film and television production is a plus, but is not required
- Passion for the industry and demonstrate enthusiasm for all aspects of the job
- More experience in a variety of duties are more likely to be hired
- Google Suite experience
- Adobe Suite is not required, but preferred
- Efficient with Mac Computers
Availability Requirements: Up to 4-5 hours/day, 5 days a week and flexibility when we have shoots in the evenings or on weekends.
Hourly rate: $15
