Production assistant works closely with the lead producer of the event, bringing a professional attitude to a variety of production-related tasks including but not limited to assisting with set-up and wrap, running and taping cables, general computer work, and going on runs. Experience in live events/reality TV/documentary preferred. General knowledge of sports and production also preferred. Must be able to help with lifting and carrying heavy gear. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

The Production Assistant (PA) assists the Lead Producer of the event with a variety of tasks.

Production Assistant (PA) responsibilities include:
With a professional attitude, handles a variety of tasks including but not limited to: lead producer requests, production set up and strike, running and taping cables, generalized computer work, and runs to assist the production.
Experience working live sports events, reality TV, or documentaries preferred
General knowledge of sports preferred
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and good driving record required

Looking for a set PA for a one-day shoot in Philadelphia, PA. Job is basically being a second set of hands. Need someone who can work with our DP who is flying in and help out. Might include reading questions to interviewees. No equipment required, and you will not really be using any.

Shoots are typically 8a-3p.
