Looking for production assistants with both SET and OFFICE experience. Please be local to Hershey PA or it's surrounding areas.
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Production Assistant to support all aspects of film production. The crew will count on you for various crucial tasks, to help keep the production running smoothly and problem-free. If you are a restless individual who can multitask, solve problems, and do things proactively, you’ll quickly become invaluable.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE
High energy and commitment.
Help prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc.
Assist art department, directors, camera people and other crew members
Print and distribute daily paperwork (e.g. creative, call sheets)
Escort talent around the filming area and coordinate extras
Act as a runner distributing messages or items within film crew and cast
Perform administrative work (paperwork, receipts, etc.)
Undertake all errands as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE
Minimum qualifications:
Proven experience as a production assistant or a passion for the industry
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
Resourcefulness and problem-solving
A team player with great communication skills
Physical strength and stamina
Attention to detail
A valid driver’s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of terminology will be appreciated
Experience working on set or in film production
High school diploma; Relevant training (e.g. production courses) will be an advantage
Computer savvy
Experience prioritizing projects, tasks, and deadlines
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly competitive marketplace
