Wayfair is searching for a production assistant to support all production needs on and off set. Primary duties of the role include assisting with sample receiving/inventory, helping move product on set, marking takes while shooting, assisting the Stylist and Videographer on set, as well as assisting with naming and organizing footage. Punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge of film-industry terminology are greatly preferred. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with a keen attention to detail and great listening skills.
Responsibilities
• Stage and prepare products for filming
• Support all areas of production before, during, and after a shoot
• Handle various administrative tasks throughout productions
• Coordinate and communicate with fellow production staff
• Help ensure smooth operations while on set
• Assist with the naming and organization of footage
• Organize samples, equipment and other set-related items
Skills and qualifications
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of film equipment and terminology
• Strong communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Great multitasking skills
