Looking for (3) very experienced Production Assistants to work on a highly rated Vh1 docu-series shooting in Raleigh, NC (applicant must able to work as a local) for a shoot this Sunday, August 20. Will also need someone to work on Saturday, August 19 as well.

Candidates must be hard-working with experience in reality TV production. Duties include (but not limited to): checking out rental vehicles, going on runs, helping Production team, collecting Appearance Releases, driving talent & crew, picking up crafty and lunch, manual labor including heavy lifting. Knowing the city is a huge plus.

Must have a clean driving record (background check will be required) and comfortable driving a minivan and/or cargo van.

Rate is $150/12hr day + any overtime.

Job Description

This is a part-time project/limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Freelance Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel in the Golf studio.

Responsibilities:

Handle remote and/or studio production needs and requests
Assist with editing of sports television and/or video segments, including, but not limited to, highlight packages, bumpers and teases, as well as cueing shots and properly securing footage to be used in such segments
Help coordinate the maintenance and organization of sports television and/or video graphics
Support in daily highlight operation (screening, logging, writing and edit guidance)
Monitor newsfeeds
Secure video and audio footage to be used in highlight packages and features
Learn library and archive system
Assist in graphic coordination and features production
Perform required sports research
Regularly generate and distribute story and show ideas for all shows and platforms

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
