Job DescriptionThe Production Assistant is a member of the MS *** Marketing team. This role is responsible for supporting creative development and production.
Responsibilities: Aid in the production and post-production of advertising, promotionand marketing materials for MS *** .
- Support the producers and editors in the creative process
- Participate with Brand, *** , Research and Production teams to facilitate campaign development and ensure successful delivery
- Contribute in department strategy/creative meetings to help develop ideal solutions
- Research, screen and log broadcast material and shoot footage
- Organize, maintain and updateelectronic files (i.e. department audio schedule, promo archive information, shoot logs, etc)
- Assist in the analysis of campaign performance
- Assist in managing *** cards and hard drives containing shoot footage after production
QualificationsBasic Qualification:- Bachelors degree
- Minimum1 year of experience working in a marketing and/or production environment
- Minimum2 years experience working with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 news environment in addition to standard hours (9:00am-7:00pm)
- Willingness to work overtime with short notice.

Desired:- Prefer Bachelors degree in communications, broadcasting or marketing
- Experience with new *** and digital *** platforms
- Experience with iNews and *** Central a plus
- Thorough understanding of the current broadcast and digital *** landscape
- Proven ability to manage in a deadline-oriented environment and to multi-task
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of current political landscape and key politicians a plus
Additional Requirements:- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
