Responsibilities
· Provide Administrative support to Production Executives (VP & Director-level); managing busy calendars, scheduling a high-volume of meetings, and preparing travel itineraries
· Assist in day to day production management needs; prepping production documents, reconciling expense reports, and filing financial/legal paperwork
· Assist in on-boarding project-based employees with paperwork and technology needs
· Occasionally work on location as a Production Assistant (PA), once it is COVID-safe to be on set
· Work with Department Coordinator/Managers to manage daily department needs
· Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Basic/Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Film/TV, or Media Production
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Ability to multi-task and confidentiality a must
· Role is currently remote but will be based in the New York City office

Job Description

As a Production Assistant with the TODAY Show, you will work closely with the TODAY editorial team and control room teams on the rundown of the broadcast. You will also serve as a resource for vacation and other PTO coverage for essential broadcast positions.

Work directly with control room production team

In this role, you'll serve as Project Manager for Foundry's Content Operations team-specifically focusing on our food and beverage categories. In addition to supporting our food & bev programs, you should be able to work across other lifestyle categories, as needed. Pay Range
Salary: New York: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00

Job Description

The Karamo Show is seeking a Booking Production Assistant to assist with all aspects of the show's booking of guests and production of segments. This is a project/limited term position with an estimated duration of approximately 6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Qualifications

Book guests/stories to appear on the show
Meet with guests who will appear on the show while they are in town

The Temporary Production Assistant for *** 's AC360 works closely with show producers to find best video and elements for segments and packages within *** systems and elsewhere.

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Production Assistant cuts soundbites and VOs, helps producers gather elements for in-house packages, and orders and creates graphics. Each PA is responsible for calling elements in the control room, and for pitching both package and guest ideas. They help producers with research for guest segments, and must work closely with rights and clearances, affiliate desk and assignment desks to ensure best video is used and sourced properly. The Production Assistant must code video and create banners, and work under extremely tight deadlines. The PA will also work closely in the control room with writers, line producer and senior producers on best sound bites and VOs for live reads and teases.

Must be able to regularly work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

Your Qualifications & Experience...

A bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.

One year of production or related experience with some experience in video and graphics.

Television/Broadcasting background is preferred.

Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Strong writing skills.

Able to juggle many tasks at once.

Experience in editing a plus.

Job Description

The Production Manager position reports to the Director, BIG 10 Operations and will be responsible for managing *** Sports Group production projects in any of the three areas: On-site, home base and studio.

Responsibilities:

Act as an effective communication conduit *** ween Remote Operations Management and the Production teams.
The Production Manager coordinates with arena / stadium / and or tournament personnel regarding mobile unit arrival and schedule.
Coordinates generator needs, equipment levels, internet needs, credentials, logistics such as compound set-up, security, catering, transportation, flight and hotel adjustments and reports crew logs; hires and partners with payroll for paying all support crews.
The Production Manager works closely with Production and Talent and with the show's Technical Manager.
The Production Manager will also work closely with the Technical Manager with various show vendors such as specialty cameras.
The Production Manager manages within the show's budget in coordination with the show's Producer and Finance. This includes ensuring all costs are accounted for and bills are paid.
The Production Manager executes and publishes the show's Production Memo which includes that show's logistics.
The Production Manager books the traveling crews' flights, rental cars and hotel reservations.
When in the studio the Production Manager manages the studio shows' crew schedule and provides supports for Production and Talent needs; he/she works closely with studio Technical Managers.
Identify, onboard, and evaluate production support positions, such as: PAs, runners, spotters, stage managers, make up, and statisticians.
The Production Manager will focus on the the Big Ten but will be involved in other *** Sports Properties as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, business or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years' experience working on a production or related projects
Proven understanding of the production process (start to finish) involved in Sports Television
Proven understanding and competency of the Microsoft Office Suite
