OVERVIEW
Brave New Films, a non-profit media organization that focuses on social justice documentaries and video, is seeking a co-producer/production manager for a short doc project currently in production. You will manage physical production of interviews featuring name talent and supervise some of post-production.


This will be a contracted freelance position with a part-time schedule over several weeks of production.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with Director and Producer to execute the short doc concept.
Managing all aspects of pre-production and production of the film shoots, including sourcing locations, hiring crew and equipment, interfacing with talent and reps, call sheets, and being the on-set producer.
Handling all releases, permits, paperwork.
Managing expenses, tracking budget and production accounting.
Post supervision. Coordinating between director and editorial on cuts, graphics, archival clearance, fair use, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS
Producing and Production Manager experience on documentary, narrative, digital media and/or television.
On set experience dealing with talent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Google Suite, and management level knowledge of post workflows and systems.
Experience with doc scripting and basic editing on Premiere Pro a plus.

Corporate Brand Video team looking for an experienced Production Coordinator or Production Manager (ideally with experience in corporate video, marketing video, events or broadcast tv) for 1+ year contract beginning in June 2024 for maternity cover.

This is a key role to bridge the US team and the local UK team.

We are looking for a camera PA to join our team for May 3rd, 6th, and 7th. We will have a production PA already on set, but would like to find a PA who is comfortable around cameras and is looking to eventually become an AC.

This person will essentially shadow our AC, and will help out where ever needed. (If that means sometimes stepping in to help production, that would be expected as well).

* Picking up craft service and crew meals.

Basic Requirements:

* 2+ years of entertainment experience required
* Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours
* Must be able to pick up and carry at least 50 lbs
* Must be 21 years or older
* Must be okay working 12 hour day
* Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record (we cover local mileage reimbursement, but do not cover travel or accommodations).

Need support Production Assistants to come be a part of our merry band of travelers bringing a new show for Discovery to town. Think American Pickers or Antique Roadshow in terms of the style and logistics we will be dealing with. We'll be tied to the filming locations (the homes) without any real company moves once we get rolling. Every filming day we have had so far in our first two episodes has started after the sun was up and finished before the sun is down. So while there's no guarantees in this world that it remains as relaxed a schedule as that, thus far there has been very minimal OT or hard hours.

ISO people experienced with on-set protocol and communication, can-do attitude and comfortability in fast-paced shooting environments. The actual # of days we need from you may change, but could be all 6 days. Will let you know your days ASAP!
