Looking for a strong production manager to work across multiple upcoming projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Overseeing 1 – 2 production coordinators, and production associate
-Booking/negotiating rates with crew, vendors, and project-based employees
-Liaising with department heads to ensure their needs are addressed, and production expectations are met
-Creating and distributing shoot schedules
-Oversee Covid safety planning & protocols
-Working with LP to track costs, helping ensure projects are in accordance with budget & cost reports are up to date
-Support LP & EIC with assigned duties as needed

Candidate must have excellent communication & organizational skills, foresight, and a positive attitude. Experience on studio based & union productions, with basic knowledge of IATSE, DGA, & SAG-AFTRA working conditions/payroll is ideal but not required.

This is a primarily remote & project-based position, with the possibility of extension into more long-term work. The position will be expected to be on site for shoots, mostly in the New York City area, with potential to travel.

The Post Production Manager for Series is responsible for the implementation of Sony Picture Animation's Editorial and Post Production agenda across all series projects. Responsibilities

Directly oversee and manage all Post Production Management personnel for series, including Post Production Supervisors and Post Production Coordinators
Work with VP and Director of Post to manage SPA series job postings for Editorial and Post, source and review candidates, and facilitate interviews as recommended
Employ Creative Editors & Editorial teams across all shows
Actively collaborate with Post Executives to design and implement departmental standards, guidelines, methodologies, work flows, and best practices for current and upcoming series
Work hands-on with productions during animatic production, assisting the production teams in achieving their schedule and deliverables
Develop schedules and budget needs for a constantly evolving environment
Stay informed of Production, VFX, and Post Production best practices across departments on current productions

Manage, recommend, and drive securing relevant bids for series Post work, including maintaining an evolving Post vendor database

Be the Post Production point person who can drive series post and archiving deliverables to conclusion, even after production staff has rolled off
Balance the staffing needs of current and emerging shows
Assist Development and Marketing departments when they are in need of Editors for one-off projects related to the series in development or production
Partner with Production and Post executives to implement procedures for emerging ***
Keep VP and Director of Post informed of pertinent updates for each series as they evolve

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years Production Management experience in a television or streaming animation environment
Must be able to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints
Excellent verbal and written skills
Should have a working knowledge of NLE systems, like Avid Systems, Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, and other Adobe applications
Must have both broad and specific knowledge of the many tools and software used in Production and Post
Should be able to work within Google apps, Microsoft Office apps, and budgeting software

The anticipated base salary for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. *** Radio is looking for a part time board operator that has the knowledge to setup and troubleshoot mixing boards, microphones, electronic and mechanical components specific to the radio station, and computer software used for editing and broadcasting audio.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Must be technically skilled to operate console panel for airing programs, promos and commercials as scheduled and in compliance with Company and FCC broadcast guidelines.
Monitor lights on console panel to ascertain that components are operative, and that transmitter is ready to emit signal.
Observe indicators and adjusts controls to maintain constant sound modulation and ensure that transmitted signal is sharp and clear.
Assist with production duties, to include recording and editing of content and screening phone calls.
Follow all studio policies, to include management of commercials and content for accuracy, timely communication of issues, airing and logging of EAS tests, logging discrepancies, transmitter readings and compliance with company rules, policies and procedures regarding Payola, Plugola and co *** icts of interest.
Must be willing to work Weekends and Holidays.
