Philadelphia based television production company with fast expanding slate of programming looking for a Production Manager for a new CNN docu-crime series. Ideal candidates should have the ability to pivot and navigate through a quick moving production atmosphere and be able to own their domain. If this is you, you'll naturally be:

-A collaborator who will work with creative team to be lockstep with their needs while balancing what's budgetarily & logistically possible
-PM who knows which crew to call upon in all different cities
-Paperwork guru - knows how to quickly distribute and organize start work to crew, mostly through digital mediums
-Ability to work with DP and G&E teams to assemble gear lists and bid out to vendors for best deals
-Organized in managing shoot locations, necessary permitting, and releases
-Building and distribution of call sheets
-Oversee the Production Coordinator's workload
-Oversee and understand the importance of booking travel for Cast, Crew, and Executives
-Organization of digital assets on cloud based production server
-Handle invoicing process for all independent contractors, manage per diem and check requests, as well as credit card and petty cash reconciliations
-Manage and and keep consistently updated cost tracker while communicating budget flags and estimates to complete to company's Exec in Charge
-Oversee the organization of show specific releases and deliverables tracking
-Manage show specific equipment and maintain production and camera/lighting gear inventory lists
-Have strong leadership and communication skills, with a professional and confident demeanor
-Must have the ability to multi-task and plan for the unexpected

The job will be mostly remote, however being located within driving distance to the Philadelphia area would be preferred. The series will consist of travelling interviews starting January, and then there will be on location recreations in the spring.

Brave New Films, a non-profit media organization that focuses on social justice documentaries and video, is seeking a co-producer/production manager for a short doc project currently in production. You will manage physical production of interviews featuring name talent and supervise some of post-production.

This will be a contracted freelance position with a part-time schedule over several weeks of production.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with Director and Producer to execute the short doc concept.
Managing all aspects of pre-production and production of the film shoots, including sourcing locations, hiring crew and equipment, interfacing with talent and reps, call sheets, and being the on-set producer.
Handling all releases, permits, paperwork.
Managing expenses, tracking budget and production accounting.
Post supervision. Coordinating between director and editorial on cuts, graphics, archival clearance, fair use, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS
Producing and Production Manager experience on documentary, narrative, digital media and/or television.
On set experience dealing with talent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Google Suite, and management level knowledge of post workflows and systems.
Experience with doc scripting and basic editing on Premiere Pro a plus.

Job Description

The Production Manager will serve as the organizational, technical, logistical lead for MS *** Digital and the MS *** video content team. The Production Manager organizes teams of writers, producers and editors who produce content all day.

Job Description

The Production Manager for the Production & Operations department provides essential support on development and series 3rd party projects of various scales across the *** U portfolio including *** , *** , USA, Oxygen, Bravo, E! and SyFy. For each project, this individual will work closely with the Production & Operations Series Leads on driving the process forward from Pre-Production and Production through Post Production and Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Communicates directly with 3rd Party Production Companies to explain expectations with regard to pre-production, production, post production and delivery.
To understand and be able to communicate Network technical delivery specifications as well as make sure the 3rd party production companies have all insurance, health & safety, and production policies in place.
Act as liaison *** ween 3rd party production companies and all internal Network departments including legal, marketing, the broadcast facility as well as health and safety.
Review and stay on top of production and post production schedules for multiple projects
Review and approve pilot and series wrap bibles, ensuring that all materials are received and accurate
Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on-time and report any issues to senior management
Observe all department and company guidelines

Job Description

The Technical Manager provides support for *** News, MS *** , and digital. This role will be responsible for managing the crew and production team to execute shows, as well as day-to-day operations.

Oversee any or all *** Universal Studio and Control room production, assuring performance standards

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Directly oversee and manage all Post Production Management personnel for series, including Post Production Supervisors and Post Production Coordinators
Work with VP and Director of Post to manage SPA series job postings for Editorial and Post, source and review candidates, and facilitate interviews as recommended
Employ Creative Editors & Editorial teams across all shows
Actively collaborate with Post Executives to design and implement departmental standards, guidelines, methodologies, work flows, and best practices for current and upcoming series
