The Ad Sales Insights & Multiplatform Analytics team is responsible for unearthing insights about different audiences and the cultural context in which they exist. This person will primarily support the Advertising Sales teams, and their clients, with meaningful insights, thought leadership, and future-forward cultural intelligence across audiences, business units, and subjects. We are looking for a team-oriented storyteller who can take part in brainstorms and craft narratives across a variety of topics! You will also work closely with the team and external research partners to provide operational and executional support on a wide variety of assignments, including, but not limited to research, analysis, storytelling, and project management. You will need to be both deeply creative and simultaneously analytical, business-oriented, and comfortable with project management.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Insights & Multiplatform Analytics will serve in a hybrid role that will support traditional and developing platforms and leverage their knowledge of *** 's brand strategy to help create actionable insights for cross-functional teams. This role will drive Ad Sales Revenue Generation and Sales Team Collaboration, contribute to best-in class Thought Leadership
We are looking for an experienced, innovative thinker with knowledge and passion for cross platform *** , storytelling and advertising trends. This role will also work closely with the Senior Director to lead and manage the junior team. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide the team in achieving research objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide research support to sales team in order to fulfill ad hoc insight requests for *** Network cross-platform brands
• Create scorecards/reporting for key metrics from audience measurement platforms like Nielsen NPower, ComScore, iSpot.tv, etc.
• Assist in conducting advertiser effectiveness, category and lifestyle behavior studies on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with Ad Sales Analytics to utilize cross-platform viewership data (linear, digital, and social) to create thoughtful and innovative audience analyses in order to best position and distinguish our networks in the marketplace
• Contribute to innovative thought leadership pieces that advance the business and maintain our brands' position with African American and multi-cultural urban audiences
• Present consumer-focused research, as well as data-driven research, to internal and external clients
• Work with broader team on projects that leverage the *** fan panel to drive rich insight for the *** sales team
REQUIRED S****S/QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years' experience in *** , advertising, or consumer research
• 3-4 years of prior experience in marketing, strategy, or analytics role
• Strong story telling with proven background in translating data into insights and insights into stories that i *** uence decisions
• Passion for the entertainment space and *** 's programming
• Strong knowledge of the cable television industry, particularly the Black consumer market, including the programing, marketing, and distribution aspects of the competitive category targeting this consumer
• Understanding of Nielsen ratings and streaming
• Experience leveraging pulling audience measurement data (Nielsen NPower, comScore, iSpot.tv, or VideoAmp, etc.)
• Experience with pulling, interpreting and integrating consumer panel and point of sale data (i.e., Nielsen, IRI and Numerator), consumer profiling databases (Helixa, Spectra, YouGov, GWI, and MRI), ad intel (iSpot/Ace Metrix, BrandIndex, Latitude, and Kantar), ratings data (Nielsen NPower, SCR and ComScore), social listening tools (Crimson Hexagon, Talkwalker, etc.) and/or data portals/warehouses (Qualtrics, Voxpopme, Tableau, etc.) Ability to solve problems strategically and think creatively
• Strong collaboration skills in a complex organization
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Related college degree

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $65,000.00 - 75,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
