JOB DESCRIPTION
*** News is looking for a DC-based, Freelance Field Photographer to cover breaking news and planned events, both in the US and abroad. You will work with a dedicated team comprising other field photographers, technical crews, satellite truck operators, engineers, field producers, and reporters.

The Freelance Field Photographer must be comfortable covering breaking news as a one-person team, as well as handling the complexities of covering protests, uprisings, political gatherings, and co *** icts in hostile regions using traditional ENG cameras. Equally important is the candidate's proficiency in large-scale productions involving multi-camera setups with full-sensor cinematic cameras, and the lighting techniques associated with high-end productions.

You must be willing to engage in extensive, substantial travel and be prepared to deploy on short notice in support of a 24-hour news cycle.

Develop *** 's sourcing strategy for leveraging suppliers of common goods or services for cost, service, and performance enhancements. Facilitate the process from beginning to end, including needs identification, development and issuance of RFI/P, vendor selection, negotiation of commercial terms and contract award, vendor onboarding and subsequent review of performance.
Build and maintain relationships with key business leaders to understand and support their vendor needs. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage purchasing power and gain strategic efficiencies.
Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews with vendors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative fields.
7-10+ years work experience including 5+ years work experience with consulting, sourcing, or procurement experience preferred.
Experience preparing and managing RFP processes and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers for goods and services.

The Treasury Analyst will support the Director of Treasury Operations and the Treasurer with various Treasury activities including financial analysis, internal and external reporting, and ad hoc projects related to Treasury Operations, Risk Management & Insurance, Asset Management, and Corporate Finance. Responsibilities:

Provide managerial and analytical support across Treasury function, including treasury operations, account reconciliation and data consolidation and ad hoc analysis related to loan and bond debt, interest expense, invoicing, and banking and investment accounts.
Oversee resource and process improvement within the Finance group, including improved utilization of resources, information management, knowledge sharing and other tools used in the Treasury Department and the Company while balancing and managing work load.
Provide analytical decision support across Treasury and Finance function including financial modeling and ad hoc analysis related to special projects to drive understanding of business performance and management decision making.
Manage and oversee the access and archiving within various financial systems for ongoing reporting and document retention. Work with resources to compile and consolidate data with use of Excel and reporting templates including year-end reporting responses.
Develop reporting and ad hoc analysis of financial information for communications and presentations to executive management, Board of Directors, and investors.
Serve as primary back up for the daily cash operations functions including liquidity oversight and payments.
Example Scope of Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Treasury Reporting

- Consolidation reporting to include monthly and quarterly Treasury Report maintenance and archiving and reporting
- Monthly reconciliation and forecasting for debt and interest expense

Risk Management & Insurance

- Assist with all insurance renewals and claims reporting and assistance
- Submission documentation
- Coordinating internal and external renewal meetings
- Analytical and reporting support for leadership and manager
- Manage Certificate of Insurance request and process system
