How you'll make an impact:As the Senior Director of Data and ML Platform, you will be responsible for leading and evolving our data and machine learning infrastructure to support the company's strategic goals. You will oversee the development and deployment of scalable data and ML solutions, manage a talented team of data engineers, machine learning engineers, project managers, and ensure the integrity, availability, and Security of our data assets.
What you'll do:- Develop and execute a comprehensive data and ML strategy aligned with business objectives. Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of ML engineers, data engineers, and project managers. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data and ML platforms. Ensure platforms are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Drive the end-to-end execution of data and ML projects, from ideation to deployment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and operations, to identify and prioritize data and ML initiatives.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and AI. Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, quality, privacy, and security. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

What you'll need:- Master's or Ph.D in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, in lieu of the degree.
- 12+ years of experience in data engineering and platform engineering related fields.
- 6+ Years in a leadership role, managing software engineering teams in a technical organization.
- Deep expertise in data science and machine learning methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable data and ML strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with executive leadership.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $230,000 to $265,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
