Telepictures Productions Inc. is seeking experienced candidates for key roles on a new daily, nationally syndicated true crime newsmagazine, launching in September.

Segment Producer:
We are seeking experienced and tenacious Segment Producers for our daily true crime show. This role involves chasing breaking news stories and newsmakers, generating ideas, pitching stories, as well as researching and booking interviews. The ideal candidate has extensive experience booking stories for national television, along with strong connections in justice and law enforcement. Compassion and experience in working with victims and their families are essential qualities, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive newsroom environment.
Responsibilities:
• Book exclusive interviews with key figures in high profile breaking and developing crime stories
• Track and pitch breaking crime stories, book interviews with important players, law enforcement and experts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, victims advocates, attorneys, victims
and families
• Organize and manage field shoots including writing interview questions, liaising with talent and field along with
camera crews and local station affiliates
• Obtain vital assets for stories including court files, legal documents, photos and video, evidence and archival
materials

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance.
