SENIOR PRODUCER/EDITOR

Wondery, the company behind Dr. Death, Shrink Next Door, Dying for Sex and Even the Rich is looking for a Senior Producer/Story Editor for a new fiction romance series called True Love.

True Love takes true love stories from the headlines and turns them on their head in fiction form, a marriage of your favorite nighttime soap opera and a juicy beach read. Each 8 episode arc, 22 minute episodes, is a sexy, funny tale filled to the brim with obstacles, challenges, heartache and love.

The Senior Producer works with Wondery’s senior producer to oversee all aspects of a new show.

Approx 40 hours a week.

Duties:
Work closely with Wondery internal Senior Producer to oversee series for approx 8 episode arcs.
Work with the Production Manager on the series calendar to track calendar and deadlines.
Assist with sourcing and outreach to writers
Participate in writers room with internal staff and externals to beat out series outline
Work with story editor and internal Senior Producer to provide guidance to writers on outline and scripts
Provide high-level notes, line edits and rewrites on scripts
Work with director to record hosts
Mix notes on episodes
Manages schedule and workflow with internal team
Approve metadata descriptions

As a Senior Producer at Night School Studio, you'll be leading production on one of our game titles and working within our department on establishing and improving our development processes.
