Your New Role...

The Production Assistant is a critical team member on"The Lead with Jake Tapper." Our PAs areresponsible for assisting all edit, segment, booking, and senior producers with a range of tasks. That includes researching, identifying, pitching, ingesting, and editing video. It also includes researching; ordering and/or crafting; and proofing on-screen fonts and graphics. Our PAs have a strong hand in crafting and executing digital strategy, including building social *** presence, publishing, and briefing on analytics. Andour PAs are consultants for our producers, ready to help realize their vision segment-by-segment to make sure our show has the smartest take and the strongest elements.

Your Role Accountabilities:

• Research, pitch, and execute production of video and graphic elements for segments and guest interviews for a daily, live two-hour news program
• Edit individual video elements
• Fact check and quality check video and graphic elements
• Assist video producer during live control room production
• Create and publish social *** content for multiple platforms as well as work with team to evolved and adapt our social *** strategy
• Consult with segment and senior producers on editorial and elements, including finding and pitching elements each day
• Liaise with *** 's designers for custom images and templates
• Liaise with *** 's legal, standards, and rights and clearances teams to properly source show elements
• Liaise with *** 's various beats, desks, and teams to procure quality video in a fast-paced production environment
• Follow along with video feeds, satellite feeds, guest logistics, and many other elements of live and taped production
• Participate in live production on election nights
• Mentor show team interns
• Demonstrate excellent editorial judgement

Qualifications & Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study or equivalent experience
• At least one year experience working in news with some control room experience
• Background in video and graphic production
• Background in social *** content creation and publishing
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, breaking news environment
• Proven attention to detail and enthusiasm for proofing your work as well as others' work in a collaborative, but demanding environment
• Ability to juggle many tasks at once

The Opportunity

Leveraging *** 's innovative and fast-paced culture, help *** attain its public climate target to reduce our emissions by roughly half by 2030 by supporting *** Production Management teams across the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to decarbonize production operations. This role will be located in Europe or the United Kingdom. Up to 40% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting into *** Sustainability, this role will be embedded in the *** EMEA Production team and will bring expertise and experience in the following areas:
• Support the implementation of the *** sustainable production strategy at the local EMEA country level by working with the studio Production Management teams to integrate energy efficiency, electric vehicles, clean mobile power and renewable energy into production operations.
• Lead the localization of *** 's sustainable production materials and information. Provide guidance to production-facing sustainability consultants.
• Identify local gaps in production decarbonization knowledge and develop strategies to close these gaps, including supporting local education and training initiatives.
• Expand the availability of cleantech equipment (clean mobile power and electric vehicles/charging) by aggregating demand and working with local production suppliers to increase their inventory.
• Stay informed and participate in EU and country-level sustainable production initiatives and groups, working to streamline standards across EMEA, in coordination with production policy.
• Stay up to date on country-level and regional regulations related to sustainability, and the operational practices they govern.
• In close coordination with *** Sustainability, track decarbonization progress across the region and provide qualitative and quantitative information as needed.
• Support the company's carbon footprint measurement process by collecting data for key emissions driving activities to inform annual reporting, working with cross functional teams to standardize and improve data collection efforts and where appropriate, software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in film or TV production operations, either directly or at a studio or broadcaster.
• Proven clean energy experience and expertise, focused on decarbonization and fuel reduction efforts and equipment.
• Familiarity with corporate carbon footprint protocols, with production carbon footprinting experience a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving sustainability goals.

The *** *** Company is seeking a Line Producer to join our *** National News team. This individual will be responsible for the oversight of live or pre-taped programs. Edits copy to assure compliance, calling for video changes when necessary; oversees all final edits for that day's broadcast under deadline. This position also coordinates and checks continuity for all video and still elements in the video walls during the day's on-stage shoot.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee offline and online post production schedule and delivery of daily packages to online editor.
• May write and produce content
• Edit teases and open for daily show.

Job Summary/Description:

WIS Television is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to join our team in Columbia, SC. We are looking for an individual with a deep knowledge of broadcast television, a great attitude and a willingness to learn. Our engineering staff supports a staff of over 100 employees, multiple OTA broadcast streams as well as video streaming. This position requires strong customer support abilities and the ability to train users on new technologies and concepts.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Advanced trainer of staff on Ross Overdrive
• Oversee acquisition and readiness of broadcast material using Crispin automation
• Installation and configuration of new broadcast equipment
• Work closely with Operations to successfully execute outside productions at a high level
• Customer support for IT/network issues
• Improve and streamline workflows for users throughout the building
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of transmitter and RF systems
• Work with corporate IT and network support to maintain a secure IT infrastructure
• Resolve tickets from users submitted to the corporate help desk system

Qualifications/Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Ross Overdrive and Crispin automation
• Ability to use and assist other users with ENPS
• Knowledge of modern operating systems and maintenance of OS
• Able to install and remove control room equipment with the assistance of another employee

Job Summary:

The Recurring Production Assistant will support studio content creation for various *** platforms. The role includes assisting in gathering content and producing show elements. The position will be scheduled for approximately 40 hours, 5 days per week.
This is a contract role for 40 weeks/1500 Hours.

Responsibilities:

• Research and brainstorm ideas to share with content teams
• Log live game feeds and game melts to be archived for future use
• Transcribe press conferences and interviews and send transcriptions to content teams
• Teleprompt live studio shows and organize and distribute scripts to talent
• Produce elements such as VOs and SOTs to air on SportsCenter, other studio shows, and *** Affiliates
• Produce highlights for a variety of sports that will air on SportsCenter and other studio programming

Qualifications:

• Standard knowledge of multiple sports, especially sports heavily covered within *** content during the contract timeline: Football ( *** and College), Basketball (NBA/**** and College), Hockey, and Baseball
• Ability to comfortably prepare and share ideas
