How you'll make an impact:The *** *** Satellite Ad Sales department is currently seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, organized candidate to support the day to day needs of the Ad Sales Planning team. The ideal candidate will build *** plans for account executives, update and maintaining department reports, and track plans from inception to completion. The candidate will be eager to learn and grow in a fast paced environment. The Ad Sales Planning department manages and prices our entire commercial advertising inventory while working closely with the advertising sales staff to facilitate the selling of radio advertising by providing plans that meet the needs and goals of clients and agencies.
What you'll do: - Works closely with Account Executives to build *** plans to achieve client goals/targets
- Approve, analyze, and review sales proposals from clients/agencies ensuring rate accuracy and inventory availability using our sales planning tool, ProposalPro
- Strategically utilize inventory to maximize revenue.
- Attend client meetings with Account Executive when needed.
- Monitor inventory at both the channel and show levels to review with management.
- Partners with Ad Sales Planners, Director and Sales management as needed.
- Assist on any ad-hoc projects as required for the department.
What you'll need:- Bachelor's Degree or equal relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in *** advertising (radio and/or pricing & planning/sales analysis a strong plus).
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Must be able to focus on detail and think strategically.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under
- shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- ProposalPro experience a major plus.
- Wide Orbit experience, a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $60,000 to $89,750 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
