SHOW DESCRIPTION - 

In Depth with Graham Bensinger averages 3 million television viewers/episode and 2.5 million digital views/episode airing weekly across the U.S. on the local NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX stations. It re-airs on NBC Regional Sports Networks and FOX Sports Nets, YouTube, ESPN in Australia/Latin America/Caribbean, BT Sport in Ireland/UK and TSN in Canada. Recent episodes range from a few days in Serbia with tennis star Novak Djokovic, to a trip to Texas for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, to visiting Hong Kong with Arnold Schwarzenegger, to traveling to Monaco with Prince Albert, to the week in the Bahamas with Sir Richard Branson.



We film on Canon C70s
- We record at 48000 khz, 24 bit, shoot at 29.97 drop-fps
- Time code jamming required
- Audio must be recorded to separate tracks - we have to be able to split audio. Mixdowns and backup tracks are welcome but no mixdown as primary track.
- Minimum of (1) IFB required for the producer to monitor audio.
- At least two subjects, no more than four, requiring wireless lavalier microphones throughout the interview and following activities.
- Booming additional subjects and activities will be required.
-Mic redundancies required for sit-down interviews when there are 2 subjects (aka 2 lavs and 2 booms).
- We will provide an SD, CF card or both for each day we film and then collect upon wrapping.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS 

- Ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties
- Ability to work under stressful and extreme conditions, as well as quickly adapt to last-minute schedule changes
- Be teachable and willing to learn new workflows
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.

Experienced and reliable Audio Mixer with gear needed for a tentative shoot in Portland, OR 6/28

Applicant must be local to the area as Production does not cover any travel costs or accommodations.

Must have 4-6 channel mixer with a boom and lavs.

Experience on home reno shows and HGTV shows are a plus.

Record high-quality audio tracks during filming, ensuring that all relevant audio is captured.
Ensure that audio recording practices comply with industry standards and regulations.
Hand off audio files to PM and/or Media Manager to ensure files are dropped on to hard drives safely.

Think American Pickers or Antique Roadshow in terms of the style and logistics we will be dealing with. We'll be tied to the filming locations (the homes) without any real company moves once we get rolling. Celebrity talent, show for Discovery/Max that will get exposure.

ISO people experienced with on-set protocol and communication, can-do attitude and comfortability in fast-paced shooting environments. Your job should be solely supporting Audio Sup with the basics - boom and batteries. Tons of sitting around time - it's just a hurry up and wait game - you know the drill.
