Thunder Child is staffing an event that combines the best of makers and creators. Guests will be able to explore interactive exhibits, get an up-close look at maker technology, and attend talks, panels, and small workshops with top creators. Our team members will support the Client team in ticketing/check-in, merchandise sales, event flow etc. to ensure guests have a great experience.
Describe Work Environment:
Event will be hosted in Daly City next to San Francisco.. Staff will be expected to stand or sit for long periods of time in a variety of stations depending on the staffing rotation. Project/event is over the weekend and will require morning and evening shifts.
Responsibilities:
Call all technical cues during discussions/panels
Ensure stage, light, & sound are set up and ready to go
Work directly with producers/Open Sauce team
Review and execute run of show
Work with talent team to ensure all speakers are checked in and ready
Experience/Requirements:
Must have experience with live shows/theater
Plus if you have knowledge of or are an active consumer of YouTube Creator content
Experience with VIP Talent
Customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Awareness of guest interaction, safety, and overall guest experience
Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
Must be at least 18 years of age upon start of employment
Must be eligible to work in the United States
