Seeking seasoned story producers with a eye for drama, entertainment, and edutainment for a business challenge-based competition series. Experience on shows like Kitchen Nightmares, Housewives, or Keeping Up with the Kardashians is excellent. If you've worked on formatted series such as Next Top Model, Too Hot to Handle or The Bachelor, even better.

This series has quick turnarounds. We need producers who are both proficient and efficient, who are also self-sufficient and can independently deliver their episodes without needing much guidance.

The producer will send an invoice every 2 weeks and payment will be issued within 5 days of submitting invoice.

A collaborative team spirit, good energy, and a proactive approach are highly valued.

Looking for an experienced Script Supervisor to work on a short film. Experience in continuity and extreme attention to detail is a must. We've got a great crew looking to add an awesome scripty to our production. The film involves people eating/drinking around a dinner table. Prep time ahead of the shoot to connect with director/DP/production designer/AD will be arranged.

Video/Podcast Writer

NYC finance video brand is seeking a skilled writer to develop video centric articles to accompany our library of podcasts. This individual will be responsible for writing articles focusing on key lessons learned or stories told during each episode. You will be responsible for delivering 2-3 weekly posts, each containing 400-450 words.

Responsibilities

- Work with the podcast producers and hosts on deadline to identify, research, report and write text articles based on key moments from the broadcast.
- Use SEO and data tools to optimize articles to enhance discovery.
- Provide clear and productive feedback to sharpen story angles, and strengthen articles.
- Meticulous copyediting, proofreading, fact-checking, and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy prior to publishing.
- Vet articles/editorial with legal and standards teams.
- Maintain efficient cross-newsroom collaboration to keep articles and projects moving forward.
- Collaborate closely with newsroom leaders across various teams.
- Ensure each podcast program’s success with active involvement from pitch to publish.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Multimedia writer with 4+ years of writing experience. National news, and digital media outlets are preferred.
- Professional experience writing and reporting on deadline with the audience and platform in mind
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
- Hands-on experience with CMS and digital publishing tools.
- Ability to work well with others in a highly collaborative environment.
- Passionate about all things finance and investing, with an understanding of markets, business, and investing strategies.
- Strong EQ with the ability to build strong relationships across the teams.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to balance priorities, multiple projects, and tasks with ease and little oversight.
- Excellent judgment when it comes to grammar, syntax, and style
- Familiarity with applying AP style or other in-house style guides
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Production Assistant – Script Dept
• Responsible for various printing tasks on site including but not limited to:
• Cue Cards, Scripts, Rundowns, Production Schedules, Signage, Various Producer Needs
• This is an onsite role that will require you to have access to a computer, most of us have PCs but if you have a Mac we can make that work!
• You will be trained on the specific formatting required for this role, and will have a pre-call every day. Live scripts change frequently so most will need to be printed morning of.

• REQUIRED
o Proficient in Microsoft programs (excel/word/teams)
o Have the ability to learn on-the-go in a fast paced environment
o Able to effectively solve printer issues
o Can handle printing multiple documents based on specific formatting by request
o Provide your own laptop
o Flexibility when things change last minute and documents have to be reprinted quickly
o Ability to recognize when something isn’t formatted right and then being able to adjust.
o Being able to identify the urgency of requests when there is a high volume of printing asks coming in.

Responsibilities

- Fact check stories for accuracy.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
