We are looking for a Sports Writer to join the *** News.com team! As the Sports Writer, you will report and aggregate stories from a wide range of sources, covering breaking, and trending news. The Sports Writer role is critical to helping *** News.com continue to drive and dominate the sports news conversation.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-73,000.00 annually for California, Washington, New York City and Westchester County, NY. $50,800.00-60,800.00 annually for Colorado. The Writer, Updates, will help keep the *** Underscored library of evergreen product review and recommendation content up-to-date and optimized for quality, conversion and search engine ranking. The position will report directly to the Editorial Director and work closely with editors across Lifestyle, Electronics, Travel and Gift Guides, and the Sr. Manager of SEO. Interested candidates should have a strong interest in shopping content and ser *** journalism. Previous experience writing commerce or product reviews is required, as is SEO knowledge/training.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Fact-check and update evergreen guides, reviews and gift guides as assigned by the Underscored Section Editors and Sr. Manager of SEO

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and assembling show script.
• Print, copy, and distribute scripts, rundowns, schedules, and blue cards.
• Format as-broadcast and final taping scripts.
• Supervise script department interns.
• Order paper and other supplies when necessary.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• 1+ years' experience working in Television Production preferably in the script department.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Your New Role...

This role focuses on both updating and creating best-of product review coverage for *** 's reviews and recommendations site, *** Underscored. Tasked with updating, finding, testing, and writing about the best products to help our readers find the things they need, the Writer, Testing and Updates will research consumer products and services across a wide range of categories, quickly build expertise, thoroughly test products and write informative, concise best-of reviews. A large part of this role is regularly auditing current Best of content and reviews and ensuring they are up to the standards with which we uphold ourselves. The content will span across categories like kitchen, home, garden and appliances to start, but broad knowledge and reportorial curiosity is required as our coverage is evolving. This position reports into the Senior Editor of Testing and will work with a team of associate writers and wide network of freelancers to research and develop coverage of product categories, assemble lists of the most relevant products to test, communicate with manufacturers and press relations agencies to obtain products, build and execute creative, thorough, realistic test plans, capture video, take photographs and write copy to build the best best-of reviews for *** Underscored and *** .com readers. E! News is looking for an experienced, passionatecandidate to join the NY digital news team in a hybrid weekend writer/editor role. This person will be responsible for writing and publishing content daily while editing junior writers and conducting interviews for E! Online. This person will also spearhead E!'s weekend coverage, working Saturday-Wednesday.
