TMZ is seeking a Logger to receive, ingest, digitize and organize incoming video into our Dalet system for the Post Production team. This position is currently a remote, full-time position scheduled from 9:00AM to 7:00PM, Monday through Friday. Once the remote working arrangement ends, the required work location for this position is the Playa Vista office. The logger work schedule will change to Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00PM to 7:00AM.

Responsibilities:
• Digitize incoming field materials and log raw field clips
• Transcribe descriptions of logged footage
• Daily data importing and tape organization for storage in Filemaker Pro
• Work with closed caption editing systems
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in Spanish
• Must be able to work a full-time overnight shift, Wednesday – Sunday from 10:00PM – 7:00AM
• Must currently live in the Los Angeles area
• Basic understanding of video formats and equipment is required
• Must be technically savvy and able to troubleshoot basic IT issues
• Basic Adobe Premiere, Adobe Prelude, Adobe Media Encoder and Filemaker Pro skills are strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with the Dalet digital media system is a plus

This editor will work with reporters and producers, guiding stories through every step of the process, from idea generation to reporting, editing and publication, as well as data gathering as needed.
