We’re looking for a full-time skilled and hard-working GRIP with Commercial Driver’s License to join the V1 Productions team. In this role, it will be your job to help us maintain, deploy and transport production equipment along with preparing, assembling and disassembling production gear for TV and film productions. You’ll be driving Class A production trucks containing a variety of production gear to different shoot locations both locally and occasionally across the country. You will gain valuable experience on set and in our shop with our large inventory of grip, lighting, distro, dollies and production support equipment.
In this role, you are first and foremost in charge of the production equipment and the responsibilities that accompany the equipment’s safe arrival at various shoot locations. This includes minor truck maintenance, mapping logistics, and scheduling duties to arrive on location on time. To do well in this position, you will need to be mechanically skilled and physically able. You should be able to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and be willing to work sometimes irregular hours.
Pay range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year based upon experience and qualifications. GRIP with Commercial Driver’s License - Full Time Position

I’m looking for a gaffer for a commercial shoot 6/5 and 6/6 in the West loop. Our location is a two story (elevator equipped) building with several office spaces and an event space. We’ll be shooting scenes of office workers working with a somewhat dramatic lighting aesthetic.
