Due to business growth and demand, we are currently in search of a Video Engineer & Robotic Camera Operator for a leading national multi-media broadcasting and digital publishing company. This position is located in the New York City metro area.

Responsibilities:
• Configure and set-up broadcast studio cameras for use in daily operations
• Color correction of all set monitors
• Overall camera look and shading for all cameras, both robotic and manned
• Operate manual and/or robotic cameras for live or taped productions
• Be proficient with robotic, touch screen, equipment, and act as expert for storing, modifying, recalling camera shots as well as ensure proper configuration of camera robotics systems
• Work with directors to establish and maintain network level camera blocking and composition standards for studio set locations
• Studio lighting responsibility and board programming for all studio sets
• Perform trouble shooting with video equipment for the studio for live or remote productions.
• Monitor and adjust signals, video waveform monitors, etc.
• Document quality standards, system anomalies, operational procedures, and reference materials

Qualifications:
• Associates or Technical Degree preferred; however, various forms of education and experience will be considered
• Minimum 4 years of experience in live, multi-camera studio production
• Excellent computer skills and experience with a live, multi-camera room preferred
• Familiar with ETC network-based lighting control systems
• Familiarity with Panasonic robotic cameras a plus
• An ability to work on multiple tasks in a high pressure, 24/7 news environment
• Solutions-based, team player
• Able to lift 50lbs and set/strike studio gear
• Familiarity with conservative news and opinion programming

Qualifications
