We are seeking a Video Operator for a leading national multi-media broadcasting and digital publishing company. This position is located in the New York City metro area.

This is a part-time, temporary position on an as-needed basis.

About the opportunity:
As a Video Operator, you will configure and set-up broadcast studio cameras for use in daily operations including color correction of all set monitors, overall camera look and shading for all cameras, both robotic and manned. You are proficient with robotic equipment and can operate manual and/or robotic cameras for live or taped productions. You have expertise with studio lighting level adjustments for all studio sets, can trouble shoot with video equipment for the studio for live or remote productions as well as monitor and adjust signals, video waveform monitors, etc.

Qualifications:
Experience in live, multi-camera studio production.
Excellent computer skills and experience with a live, multi-camera room preferred.
Familiar with ETC network-based lighting control systems.
Familiarity with Panasonic robotic cameras a plus.
An ability to work on multiple tasks in a high pressure, 24/7 news environment.

Education & certification requirements:
Associates or Technical Degree preferred; various forms of education and experience will be considered.

Qualifications
