America's Best Restaurants/Driven Media Solutions is growing again! We’re seeking an energetic, One-Person-Band Videographer to join our production team for the online series "The ABR Roadshow". As the Videographer you’ll play a crucial role in capturing compelling footage and visuals that will contribute to the overall success and quality of the show. "ABR Roadshow" is an online series that premieres on social media platforms and follows a host as they interview restaurateurs and taste great dishes from coast to coast. This position is tailor-made for driven videographers that are eager to hone their skill sets while traveling the country. Tentative start date of 6/3/24.
After roughly 2 weeks of on-set observation/training, you’ll be paired with one of our experienced hosts to embark on a travel-heavy journey, putting restaurants in the spotlight so that consumers will KNOW where to eat. Although the show is travel heavy, you’ll receive one paid week off per month as well as an additional 2 paid weeks off when the company is closed for holidays. All travel expenses are covered by the company, and we’re open to locals in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati areas as well as talented individuals from around the country.
Responsibilities:
- Camera Operation: Operate cameras and minimalist lighting equipment to capture quality footage that meets the creative and technical requirements of the show. We shoot on Canon Eos R6 Mark ii and all gear is provided by the company.
- Capture B-roll, host-led interviews with restaurateurs and chefs, customer testimonials and basic still photography of restaurant/kitchen operations and featured dishes.
- Recording sound to camera utilizing a Pico Mic 2 Pro & Receiver Kit.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production, hosts and restaurateurs.
- Data Wrangling: Data transfers from SD cards to SSDs. Shipping hard drives to the home office. All equipment provided.
- Travel: Extensive travel via production van. Typically on the road for 1-2 weeks at a time with a paid week/break afterward.
Compensation/Employment Type:
- This is a full time, W2 salaried position with one paid week off per month, and health, dental, vision and 401k benefits.
