Primus Visuals has an immediate opening for a Video Producer. The position is contractor-based and the candidate will be paid on a per job basis (as an independent contractor). Typical job payments will be $250 to $1000 per production. We are looking for a long term video producer/editor.
The Video Producer will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Shooting professional videos for clients.
• Video editing and post-production.
• Using Premiere Pro software and/or other video tools.
• Using, managing, and taking care of video production equipment.
• Meeting strict deadlines.
• Interacting professionally with clients.
• Optimizing videos for online viewing.
Optimal Candidates will have:
• Experience with Premiere Pro or other NLE video software (Final Cut, AVID, etc.)
• Have strong moral values and integrity.
• Be a hard worker.
• Be able to work independently without oversight.
• Must be detailed and able to follow specific instructions.
The majority of all videos will be shot onsite at customers locations. Depending upon the project, the Video Editor will be editing a mix of aerial videos with ground based videos. The Video Producer will be responsible for capturing all ground based videos with his own equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Video Producer will be paid on a per job basis. PAYMENT schedule is below:
• General Video Production - $200 Flat Rate & $30 per hour for filming
• General Video Editing - $30 per hour (Flat rate will be determined prior to each project)
The Video Producer will work as an Independent Contractor, and not an employee, providing the producer with special benefits such as: plenty of freedom, ability to work independently, and payment of entire earned income (payment and calculation of taxes will be the responsibility of the Video Producer. Medical benefits are not provided. Hours can be determined on a week-by-week basis and there is not a need to "clock-in and clock-out" on a daily basis.
