Production Management:
This is a broad VFX/Animation production management role. In general, this person will manage the workflows associated with translating scripts into finished shows. A key first goal for this position will be recruiting animation, visualization and AI talent from Hollywood professional community --identifying and recruiting experienced, technically savvy pros with some exposure to AI.

Specifically for our productions, the keys roles are:

1. Supervise team in the execution of VFX/animated scenes.
2. Coordinate with producers, writers and directors to execute the creative direction.
3. Manage shot lists, notes, assets (videos, stills, audio).
4. Track team hours and coordinate with production accounting on this tracking.
5. Work closely with the lead production executive to manage all aspects of the production.

This is a fluid environment – key roles will evolve.

Key qualifications for this role:

How you'll make an impact:

Required Skills / Technical Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Nuke.
Strong aesthetic skills in judging photo-realism and color.
Strong communication skills.
Can quickly learn new software and techniques.
Ability to work gracefully under pressure to meet deadlines, and with minimal supervision.
Strong sense of composition, color and design.
Familiarity with using Linux systems
Ability to write Nuke gizmos and/or plugins a plus.
Python and/or C++ experience a plus.

Preferred Skills / Competencies:

Ideal candidate has strong fine arts foundation skills, such as photography and photographic lighting.

Education / Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of compositing experience in a feature film or commercial production environment.
Previous experience in look development and sequence supervision ideal.
