Art+Wardrobe Stylist

We are looking to fill a hybrid production role for a docuseries prepping the second half of May and filming in June in the NY-area. This position will work closely with our interview subjects before filming on what to wear to set to match the show's aesthetic. Interview subjects will primarily be using their own wardrobe alongside a budget for enhancements/accessorizing to help elevate their look and subtly channel the 1970s era. Additional on-set duties include limited HMU touch ups (Interviewees will be asked to come camera ready) and limited Set Decor adjustments.

Our ideal candidate has a sharp creative eye that can elevate and enhance without overwhelming, and is a great communicator that can build rapport with our subjects and guide them aesthetically in a way that will make them feel and look energized and camera-ready.

We are seeking a creative and resourceful Costume Designer to join our team for an upcoming independent film. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about storytelling through apparel, to bring characters to life in a visually compelling manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in costume design , with a keen ability to work within budget constraints and source materials creatively. This role requires collaboration with the director and actors to develop and execute a cohesive visual style that enhances the narrative and character development of the film.

As this is a low-budget independent project, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Costume Designer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of costume production from concept to final on-screen appearance, including sewing, alterations, and on-set adjustments. This position offers the chance to be intimately involved in the filmmaking process and to make a significant impact on the look and feel of the film. Candidates with a portfolio demonstrating previous work in a feature film(s) will be given preference.
