SAG Moderate Low Budget non-union independent feature-length drama shooting in and around Saugerties seeks highly organized / resourceful / local Wardrobe Supervisor or Wardrobe Assistant. Rates are admittedly low across the board (all dept heads and keys are making the same rates), but we are looking to work with people that are building their feature film credits and want to add a great film to their resume. We are looking for folks that are local to the Hudson Valley (or can work locally) and can commute to set each day. Please let us know what town you live in or can base out of.

1 weeks of prep @ $200 per 10 hr a day
21 days of filming @ $250 per 12 hr day
3 day of wrap @ $200
Catering on shoot days provided

We are seeking a creative and resourceful Costume Designer to join our team for an upcoming independent film. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about storytelling through apparel, to bring characters to life in a visually compelling manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in costume design , with a keen ability to work within budget constraints and source materials creatively. This role requires collaboration with the director and actors to develop and execute a cohesive visual style that enhances the narrative and character development of the film.

As this is a low-budget independent project, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Costume Designer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of costume production from concept to final on-screen appearance, including sewing, alterations, and on-set adjustments. This position offers the chance to be intimately involved in the filmmaking process and to make a significant impact on the look and feel of the film. Candidates with a portfolio demonstrating previous work in a feature film(s) will be given preference.
