About the Engineering Support Organization

The aim of the Engineering Support Organization is to enable Productivity Engineering to effectively and sustainably scale the support they provide to their customers. The team is the frontline resource for the engineering support needs of our customers (i.e., our engineering workforce) - handling, troubleshooting, and resolving customer requests and issues. In addition, the team will focus on ways of working, customer advocacy, support tooling, platform product offerings, documentation, and developer education.

Provide insights, feedback and champion customer sentiment about the tools we support to our partners across Productivity Engineering. Partner with PM and Engineering to track and maintain visibility into ongoing issues and communicate customer needs to ensure improving in these areas is prioritized.

Drive collaboration efforts to reduce product friction and increase usability so that Productivity Engineering can build, deploy and deliver highly functional solutions for the Developer Community.

The Role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a passion for productivity infrastructure and tooling, customer service, and automation. You will be responsible for monitoring and handling our customers' requests, troubleshooting, solving issues, automating support needs, developing runbooks, improving and maintaining support tools, understanding our product offerings, and continuously looking for ways to improve the engineering support experience.

Our ideal team member has first-hand experience working in customer-facing, engineering support roles, writing and building a comprehensive self-ser *** knowledge base and has knowledge of infrastructure, internal tooling, platforms, and cloud computing. You are excellent at understanding and solving complex and ambiguous problems and constantly seek improvement. As an Engineer in this role, we need a candidate who can understand our complex offerings on a technical level, be hands-on in the development of our support automation tooling, and recommend product and operational improvements based on customer interactions.

• Ability to read and write SQL queries to pull required complex data to support any reported issues/product defects
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and/or container orchestration platforms is a plus

The Studio *** Algorithms team is at the forefront of algorithmic innovation to enhance and support the creation of movies, TV shows, games, and other multi *** content. We are looking for a Research Scientist with demonstrated experience in deep machine learning and one or more of computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP), and computer graphics (CG) to research and develop algorithms and models to enhance the tools used by content creators throughout the production lifecycle, including visual effects (VFX), animation, and games.

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and evaluate algorithmic solutions for variety of problems in the VFX, animation, and games space, pushing forward the state of the art in CG and CV as needed
• Developing foundational ML models and methods with one-to-many applications, contributing to our core focus areas in *** algorithms
• Work cross-functionally with engineers, scientists, artists, and product leaders across teams, to help identify and prioritize opportunities and problem requirements
• Provide input to the design of our AI platform

About you:

• Research experience with a successful track record of delivering quality results and/or academic publications in top ML, CV, CG, or NLP venues
• Expertise in designing and training deep learning (DL) architectures for *** understanding and generation with a broad understanding of DL methods and literature

What will you do?

• Architect, strengthen, and expand the core data models that our Ads functions use to answer business questions. You'll get on a team of talented data engineers and envision how all the data elements from multiple sources should fit together as a whole, and then execute that plan.
• Fully own critical portions of *** 's Ads data model. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, model tables using software engineering and data warehouse best practices, and develop data pipelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data
• Partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to create data sets that will serve analysis and reporting needs intuitively
• Develop best practices for governance of data sets with sensitive information

Skills & experience we're seeking:

• Well grounded domain experience in ANY ONE of these 4 areas :
• 1- (Ad Delivery) Building publisher side ad tech systems such as ad servers, bidders and pacers, yield optimizers or their demand side counterparts (DSPs).
• 2 - (Identity and Audience Targeting) Built identity graphs, integrated with DMPs and worked on enabling audience targeting, 1P or 3P segments.
• 3 - (Measurement) Familiarity with brand lift measurement, incrementality based measurement, outcomes measurement etc.
• 4 - (Sales Enablement) Guaranteed and non-guaranteed inventory reservations and management, Sales tooling, Integrations with OMS, CRM systems etc.
• General understanding of the advertising marketplace and landscape.
• Worked closely with ad operations to enable campaign setup, targeting, reporting and advertiser needs.
• Developed many cloud based applications and comfortable with modern programming languages (preferably object oriented),
• Familiar with A/B testing and experimentation.

Nice to haves:

• Contributed to an ads industry technology standard (e.g VAST, OpenRTB) or worked on an industry consortium effort, working group etc.

Operate

Your mission is to ensure *** engineers can easily monitor and understand the health of their systems, rapidly troubleshoot and re *** te incidents, achieve high reliability and availability, and reduce operator toil. This product domain focuses on the experience of operating software & systems across environments, including products, experiences, and abstractions for monitoring and alerting, troubleshooting, incident management and re *** tion, exploration and visualization of metrics, events, logs, and traces (MELT), profiling and diagnostic tools, and production readiness, operational maturity, and ser *** level objectives (SLOs). You'll continually innovate to reduce operator toil, such as applying machine learning to improve availability by detecting and re *** ting incidents with minimal operator involvement and ensuring emergent recommended operational standards & practices can easily be provided out-of-the-box and updated on both new and existing services.

Developer Experience

Your mission is to ensure *** engineers can easily discover, learn, and use our developer platform to build and manage software for their use cases with low friction, cognitive load, and choice burden.This product domain focuses on our engineering console and front door developer experience and cross-cutting, end-to-end user journeys, including product discovery, learning, and integrated knowledge, software catalog and search, software inventory management, ownership, and maintenance, project bootstrapping and provisioning workflows, change campaigns and migration experience, and scorecards to check, measure, report and provide actionable feedback and guidance on alignment to recommended products and software standards & practices. You'll innovate to reduce time to market for platform providers to ship new experiences and capabilities, ensure our products are connected into a unified, consistent experience across developer workflows, where engineers can easily discover and navigate guidance for their use cases with well-paved options and recommendations.

• Deeply understand and triangulate across customer needs, product analytics, and external industry innovation to drive product vision and strategy for Developer Platform offerings that maximize business and customer impact
