Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Communications Coordinator will support the Late Night and Specials Communications department with administrative and operational responsibilities in New York.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
•Perform administrativeand departmentsupport tasks including phone coverage, managingcalendar for the SVP, creating and disseminating TV highlights and listings, reconciling invoices, coordinatingscreeners/mailings, filingoutcreativebriefs, maintaining editorialand awardscalendars,creating tune in alerts, coordinating high profile internal and external executive meetings, updatingpress lists,booking traveland other assignments as required
• Compile the daily clip packet,distributepress materials to key executives, keep team apprised of all breaking news and monitor social *** for all network and series related coverage
•Manage, hire and train staff interns and pagesevery quarter
•Assistthe department wit *** okingtalenttravel,creating schedulesand coordinating on-site coverage.
•Support with organizingpress junkets, print interviews, set visits, photo shootsetc.
•Collect and write monthly listings highlightsand manage dissemination of photos, electronic clips andpress releases
•Assist in the creation of show press materials, programming releases and planning ofspecial events
•Develop positive relationships with press, talent and their representatives, producers, production staff and programming executives in order to assist press managers in maximizing press coverage and minimizingcrises
•Work alongside senior leadership to manage and maintain the department press budget.
Qualifications
Eligibility Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications/Public Relations/Journalism
•Must be willing to workin New York City, NY
Desired Characteristics:
• Minimum1yearof professional experience; *** , entertainment, ortelevision publicity experience preferred
