As Executive Producer you are the conductor of a 3-screen experience driving great content that celebrates the people, places, and traditions that make Hampton Roads and northeast North Carolina a great place to live. The Executive Producer must be a positive leader, able to coordinate projects and assignments *** ween multiple departments (News, Sales, and Marketing) and be able to make quick and sound editorial decisions. You will work closely with the show producers, anchors, and news managers to ensure that we have the best segments, live shots, story showcasing, and user-generated content in the market.

- Collaborate and execute long-term newsroom strategy

Requirements:

- Track record of quality journalism, high integrity, and ethical decision-making
- Passion for growing journalists and fostering a creative, positive, and collaborative newsroom
- Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news, and changing events
- Strong organization, planning skills and the ability to work under constant time-sensitive deadlines
- Knowledge of AP ENPS, Edius, photojournalism, video editing, and content management systems a plus
