Job Summary/Description:
****-TV/****-TV Augusta, Georgia is looking for a Multi *** Journalist to join our award-winning news team. We've launched several journalism careers. Yours could be next! Experience in investigative journalism is a plus.
This is not a position for feature reporters, but for journalists who thrive on bringing in lead stories. Expect to turn 1-2 stories daily including a pkg. MMJs pitch enterprise stories, research, shoot, write, and edit stories. Opportunities also exist to work with videographers on the big story of the day, breaking news, and live shots.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have a strong, take-charge personality with the ability to execute compelling live shots and uncover exclusive details on the big story of the day/night.
- Successful candidate is highly competitive and works well under tight deadlines.
- Applicants need a degree in broadcast journalism or related field.
- Must be able to turn hard news pkgs. daily with attention to accuracy, detail, compelling sound, and solid broadcast writing.
- Solid skills in broadcast-style writing, on-camera presence, and storytelling are a must.
