Equal parts hackathon, road trip and bootcamp, StartupBus is an annual competition where top members of the tech community to hop on a bus and conceive, build and launch a startup in three days. Buses travelled from NYC and five other cities in North America to coverage at a tech conference in New Orleans where the teams of “bus-trepreneurs” competed in pitching the business they created along the way. I was embedded on the NY bus and alternated between being a fly-on-the-wall, confidante, interviewer, sounding board and friend.
