Responsibilities
Reporting into the Sustainability & Operations workstream of *** Sustainability, bring key quantitative and qualitative expertise and experience in the following areas:
- Renewable Electricity:
- Support *** Sustainability in evaluating larger-scale on-and off-site renewable energy investment opportunities such as Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs) and Tax Equity Investments, including emissions analysis and - with Finance - project-level economics. Liaison with vendor and project developers
- Support Real Estate and Internal/External Events teams interested in the procurement of renewable energy at the site level where possible. Work with utility and landlord partners to secure renewable energy supply agreements. Structure and lead competitive procurements (RFIs/RFPs) for Environmental Attribute Certificates (e.g. RECs, GOs, SAFc)
- Renewable Fuels:Support *** Sustainability, Aviation, Internal & External Events and other corporate teams interested in the procurement of renewable fuels (e.g. SAF, RNG, etc)
- Energy Efficiency: As needed, support the real estate teams in implementing cost-saving energy efficiency projects already identified or to-be-identified
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years with corporate renewable energy procurement and related markets
- Experience in portfolio management of renewable energy investments, including direct sourcing, utility-based supply programs to bundled and unbundled credits
- Experience in energy management for internal or external events
- Knowledge of corporate GHG accounting a plus
Location: North America, remote
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $$50,000 - $245,000.
