JOB DESCRIPTION
*** 13 / *** Local / *** 13Seattle.com , the *** Owned and Operated duopoly in Seattle, WA (DMA #11) is in search of a *** President of Marketing/Creative Services. The ideal candidate will shape the marketing plan for the duopoly stations and digital platforms. We are looking for someone with a strong creative edge - who own the creative framework and execution for key concepts and groundbreaking campaigns that really work. Someone with a fearless attitude and a strong desire to win. Experience in social *** and public relations, digital marketing and managing budgets is essential. *** /Journalism background is a big plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties.

Duties/Responsibilities

Develop and implement differentiated and impactful marketing strategies, campaigns, and materials.
Identify our specific customer base and how news *** is being consumed in the Seattle DMA.
Develop strategies to grow digital streaming platforms.
Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.
Work closely with the Sales and News departments to align sales and marketing strategies.
Manage marketing budget and expenditures.
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies.
Understand Nielsen ratings system and Comscore system and use them effectively in creating marketing campaigns and informing news on strategic direction.
Develop, inspire, and manage the Marketing & Creative Services department and ensure a safe, productive environment.
Create a collaborative marketing environment where innovation and original ideas thrive.
Provide creative counsel and direction to internal and external customers and clients.

Required Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Proven negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of local television operations (emphasis on local news), branding campaigns, digital marketing and digital content strategy that engage viewers and users.
Proven track record of creating high-quality work - from script writing to art direction, producing, music, and voice-over selection, animation, and graphics.
Must possess strong industry relationships, knowledge of industry standards, and best practices.
Self-starter with ability to multitask, operate within budgetary and schedule constraints, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Education and Experience

Minimum five (5) years' experience in television industry.

*** Discovery (WBD) is searching for a Director, Employee Connection, UK and EMEA to join the Global Business Services (GBS) People & Culture (P&C) Operations team. This role will manage WBD's P&C Employee Connection and Workforce Administration (WFA) onsite team members in the UK and throughout Europe who support People & Culture (P&C) Services and (P&C) Partners in the UK and EMEA with position and employee data management. This Director role oversees day-to-day processes, recommends and builds processes as part of the continuous improvement journey, participates as a subject matter expert in meetings and on special projects around WFA and EC, and assists internal and external clients and P&C Partners with questions and concerns.

The EC and WFA teams are the primary data owner of employee data in Workday HCM. Your New Role

This position provides employment legal support and counseling for P&C and business leaders within *** Bros Discovery. The role is primarily focused on supporting WBD's news and sports business units and operations and may support other client groups and initiatives within the WBD's global corporate functions and departments. This role works closely with the broader internal employment legal team to provide day-to-day ad *** and subject matter expertise across the full range of employee relations and other labor and employment issues across the US. In consultation with the international employment legal team, this role manages global initiatives and issues, including agreements for on-air talent and other sophisticated contract matters. This role is the lead employment lawyer for the news and sports business units and manages a team of paralegal and attorney staff, providing day to day management and strategic direction and prioritization. This role interprets the latest employment legislation and case law into practical, straight forward language to deliver workable solutions in a fast paced, dynamic global business environment. Delivers training on key legal matters within client groups.

Your Role Accountabilities

Ad *** and counseling on labor and employment matters

Analyzes, drafts, negotiates and reviews a portfolio of several hundred complex executive and on-air talent agreements and provides legal support to WBD's contract administration team.

Management of a team that includes a lawyer, paralegal and group executive assistant

Support for corporate initiatives and projects as needed and assigned, including restructuring reviews, policies, and harmonization initiatives.

Employment legal support for employment disputes and litigation, including administrative charges and arbitration proceedings

Ad hoc ad *** on labor relations matters focused on labor relations in a non-union environment.

Qualifications & Experience

12 years of experience as a practicing labor and employment lawyer
Experience in a global environment, preferably in ***
Experience supervising or overseeing the work of other attorney(s)
Juris Doctor
Member of a state bar in good standing and eligible to practice as in-house counsel in New York
Knowledge of labor and employment law and the legal environment of the *** industry sufficient to prepare legal documents, represent WBD in legal proceedings, and advise management
Must be able to prepare, negotiate, and interpret complex agreements and other legal documents
Must be able to research legal questions and to provide written and oral advice
Must be able to supervise and evaluate legal, paralegal and administrative subordinates
Knowledge of labor relations issues in the *** industry, particularly in unscripted/non union environments

The Production HR team provide HR expertise & business partnering to all International Film, TV & theatrical productions. Working as pro-active partners to the Production & assisting Head of Departments on Production. The Production HR partners attend Production sets and provide in-person ad *** & support. Key Responsibilities

Production HR

Liaising and advising Production management on all HR activity throughout the Lifecyle of a Production
Partner with UKProduction Companies, attending the offices and being responsive to employee questions

Provide HR Support to freelancers as and when required

Qualifications

Previous experience in handling low level employee-relations matters which involve disciplinary action

Principal Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional performance of collection functions.
Contacts Members to collect on all delinquent loans, VISA Accounts, and NSF Accounts by means of direct communication (e.g. letters, telephone calls, personal office contact.)
Performs skip tracing to locate Members and assets.
Performs collections efforts in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

Required Skills
