Are you interested in joining a team that drives integration across business units, focuses on processes and procedures to enhance operations and is responsible for planning internal and executive events for *** Cruise Line? Then look no further!
This Operations Integration Events Manager role is the one for you. You will work closely with the various lines of business to create process and procedures for events as well as develop programs, handle communication and event lead internal and executive events. We invite you to bring communication, budgeting knowledge, creativity, build relationships and project manage and event plan, working independently and with a team.
What You Will Do
- Partner with cross-function teams to create and maintain clear process and procedures for events for the existing fleet and islands.
- Serve as a communicator and strategic partner for the *** Cruise Line operational teams, building effective relationships and identifying integration opportunities.
- Assemble and lead project teams through the successful planning and completion of events/projects, measured by the key deliverables, efficiency, quality, and financial impact.
- Provide event support to other *** Cruise Line projects, as needed, including process re-engineering efforts and general growth initiatives related to Fleet and Island Expansion
- Collaborate with partners including Public Affairs, Public Relations, *** Production, Marketing logistics as well as shoreside and shipboard operations to ensure appropriate assessment, approvals, planning and execution of events.
- Maintain and publish reports in support of fleetwide operations and event related activities.
- Provide analytical support to Manager of Events when reporting, analysis or modeling is required.
- Handle budget and purchasing decisions related to gifts and amenities for event related activities.
- Lead a wide range of events and programs for *** Cruise Line in partnership with Internal and Executive teams.
- Handle confidential information.
- Plan and coordinate ship tours across the fleet.
- SMS Responsibility for upholding the general safety management responsibilities specified in the Safety Management System within areas under their control
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and business acuity.
- Knowledge of *** Cruise Line Operations and cruise industry/maritime protocols.
- Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and presentation skills with attention to detail.
- Solid track record to lead and facilitate cross functional teams.
- Ability to represent team and project needs in both written and verbal interactions.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and personal interaction styles.
- Ability to periodically travel in support of an event. (
- At least four years of proven experience in event management.
- Presentation skills to include building decks and systems knowledge in Power Point, Smartsheet, and Excel.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
