Job Description

The Production Events Manager position reports to the Director of Golf Corporate Events and will be responsible for managing *** Sports Golf client events and projects on-site at golf events and at our home base (Stamford, CT).

Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Golf, Corporate Events in planning, execution and post-event reconciliations
Manage tickets following *** U's Corporate Compliance policy, pro-ams, and honorary observer groups
Work with event team to reserve accommodations at various events both domestic and international in partnership with finance and legal
Oversee client reservations including restaurant, spa, golf, etc.
Create and maintain all event registration sites, including building, event communication, etc.
Responsible for ordering, managing inventory, and fulfilling all golf premiums
Manage vendor relationships including housing, catering, venue and hotel
Coordinates with tournament personnel regarding event planning and transportation event needs
Manages within the event budget in coordination with golf leadership and finance. This includes ensuring all costs are reconciled, vendor setups, and invoices/bills are paid on time
Manages credentials including requesting, tracking, and distribution, etc. for various partner leagues and events
Staff event hospitality suite on-site during events
Books flights, rental cars and hotel reservations
Assists Golf Production Manager(s) with day-to-day needs (travel memos, T&E, credentials, booking vendors, hotel contracts) as schedule permits.
Executes and publishes the Event Memo which includes that event, housing and transportation logistics

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Communications, Business, related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5+ years' experience working in event management
Proven understanding of the production process (start to finish) involved in Sports Television
Experience in Cvent or other event management platforms

The Technical Assistant I (TA) provides front line rendering and data management support for ILM VFX Production teams and the facility. What You'll Do

Prioritize overnight renders; Coordinate processor allocations with Core Pipeline & Show Production teams; Balance processor demands within show, *** ween shows, and as a share of facility pool.
Report issues with frames post render to the digital artists and CG Supervisors and work to find a solution
Work to ensure full resource utilization during the night. Manipulate priorities to ensure that renders are completed by next business day. Report any machine problems or general issues that hinder the completion of renders to the appropriate department.
Monitor disk usage for the facility, with a particular focus on individual shows, and on a shot-by-shot basis within those shows. Coordinate show storage needs on a long-term basis with Digital Resource Manager.
Work with the Digital Resource Manager, CG Supervisors and Core Pipeline team to ensure show follows proper data management procedures.
Prioritize, manage, and maintain archive of show data, including creation of archival backups for shows, maintenance of archive database, storage and retrieval of physical *** for recent show archives. Fulfill all data restoration requests, including archival research to locate requested data.

Associate Digital Asset Manager

Overview:

The *** Streaming photo department is looking for a detail oriented Digital Asset Manager to join the team in the New York OR Los Angeles office. We are a dynamic, engaging team and are looking for someone who appreciates photography but really loves digital asset management. Come help us figure out how to work smarter, not harder!

Reporting to the VP of Photography, this role will support the *** Streaming Photo team across a wide range of responsibilities. This role will work closely with the Photo Leads to manage the photography being produced by the team. You'll run our workflow liaising with photographers, receiving their images, quality control, and keeping the team informed. This is a vital position at the heart of the team. This role requires a very detailed oriented person who can handle multiple projects at once. This is not a creative role.

Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage the network's internal DAM database and archiving system
Adhere to and maintain digital naming conventions, file management, metadata, and quality control.
Work closely with photographers across the globe receiving their uploaded images, hard drives, metadata and confirming all uploads are not corrupt or missing files.
Process images as needed through Capture One
Includes but not limited to transferring, renaming, attaching metadata, adjusting, backing up & uploading to our DAM Database, and archiving our digital photography.
Update *** Press site. Upload pre-air and post-air images per show confirming they are "live" on the site with metadata attached. Maintain a consistent look for photography on the press site.
Receive digital assets directly from photographers and manage the assets throughout all aspects of the project with the team.
Be the conduit for sending photography to agencies, internal teams and archiving.
Help maintain and monitor photography budget
Retouching and color correcting unit and gallery imagery

Basic Qualifications:

4-5+ year experience in Digital Asset Management, archiving or library science
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Additional Qualifications:

Strong Knowledge in Digital File Specs & sizes, formats
Good understanding of photography and photo business
Very detail oriented
Works well under pressure
Good time management skills
Willingness to learn and work as a team
Ability to work remotely and return to office on a hybrid schedule
Some video experience is helpful

Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 84,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
